For the last 25 years Johannes Foersom (born 1947) and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen (born 1943) have been two of the foremost exponents of Danish furniture design. They both have craft training and academic background. Both have taught at Danmarks Designskole. Together they have worked for a long list of Danish and foreign companies and their work has been awarded several times.

Their design is characterized by functionalism combined with beautiful shape. For more than 20 years they have had

a productive and successful collaboration with Erik Jørgen-sen Møbelfabrik.
